AN Roth Is Proud to Offer
Support for Local Organizations
Hats for Hope began in 2004 when a handful of volunteers from KFC, YUM! Brands, Inc., Unified Foodservice Purchasing Co-op, LLC and Golden State Foods were looking for a way to raise funds and awareness for the fight against breast cancer. Fourteen years later, Hats for Hope – a silent auction of hundreds of new, designer and gently worn Derby hats as well as a variety of other gift packages – draws hundreds each year to an event of support and celebration. The team at A.N. Roth has been touched by loss due to cancer and is proud to have sponsored this event from 2009 until its final year in 2018, raising funds for James Graham Brown Cancer Center and Kosair Charities to expand breast cancer research and support for children’s cancers
A.N. Roth believes strongly in keeping families close. For that reason, they are proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana (RMHCK) provide a “home away from home” for families of children receiving healthcare at area medical facilities while also lending support to other organizations who aid children. A.N. Roth has been a sponsor of McDazzle, RMHCK’s largest annual fundraiser since 2009. Additionally, A.N. Roth has provided services to the organization’s facilities.
“A few years ago, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana called us with an emergency: one of their AC Units quit working in the middle of the summer! Home to more than 30 families with critically ill children receiving medical care here in Louisville, the Ronald McDonald House is such a special place. The families staying there don’t need additional stress in their life. We decided to donate the new unit, and thanks to ABCO-Bramer Crane Service who donated their expertise, we were able to lift it three stories up to the roof.”
